FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

I am a beginner runner (e.g. never run before). Is this program for me?

Yes. All our programs accommodate HER – whether you are starting, starting over or starting a new goal. We have programs ranging from 10km – 100 km. If you are brand new to running or running on trail, check out our build to 10km program!

What currency do you use?

Our pricing and payments are in AUD. We use STRIPE for payment processing so payments can be taken safely and internationally and converted from your currency.

Can I join from anywhere around the world?

Yes. From anywhere. Our run programs are online programs so you can access your membership hub from anywhere with internet.

Our in-person adventures are held in various locations that you can travel to.

I’m having problems logging in or accessing my videos?

If you have any issues logging into the membership site after signing up – please email us at info@hertrails.com and we will sort it out. We won’t leave you hanging without access!!

Do I need any equipment?

You will need running shoes! We talk more about this and trail specific gear in the first weeks of our programs. For the strength and mobility sessions, we highly recommend the Her Toolkit that includes; a pair of sliders, a fabric band, a light band, a focus ball, and a travel bag.

But if you don’t have this kit, don’t worry, you can still do everything without these tools.

Can I do your programs if I’m new to strength training?

Yes. The ‘strength for runners’ component is part of all our programs and is all about teaching you how to control your own body language.

Every human needs this! In the first weeks of our programs, we introduce you to the concept of strength training for runners and will build you up safely across the duration of the program.

What if I fall behind? Can I catch up later on?

We definitely understand that even with the greatest intentions other life priorities can make it hard to stick with a program. We support you each week to find ways of harnessing your consistency.

We will also give you access to your program beyond the end date (the full access length depends on the program selected). This means you will have the opportunity to catch up weeks if you fall behind due to injury or illness or the juggle that is life!

In all our programs, we recommend that you email your coaches at info@hertrails.com if you need some extra support during your training.

I’m a new Mumma, can I still do your run programs?

We recommend our holistic programs for those who are a minimum of 6 months postpartum. Please be cleared by your doctor/physiotherapist to return to exercise.

The program also incorporates support on pelvic floor health and Diastasis Recti healing with pre & postnatal specialist Julie Baird.

If you’re looking for a program that focuses on a safe return to exercise after having a baby – check out www.ourfitfamilylife.com / @ourfitfamilylife.

How will I receive my program?

When you sign up, you will be prompted to create a log in to your Membership Hub. Within your hub, you will receive your weekly run programming, strength & mobility, mindset videos and weekly objectives.

You will also have access to the Life Hub, with a range of videos on topics relating to female health, training & performance. Each week, you will also receive your program email from your coaches with relevant info and your focus for the week! This helps to keep you on track and accountable as you plan your training schedule each week.

In addition to the Membership portal, we also use Facebook groups to connect you with your community. You DO NOT need to be on Facebook to complete your run program, however we do use this platform for community building and sharing. We have had many members (that don’t use Facebook personally) activate an account just for our programs.

What about face-to-face runs or events?

The Her Trails community is strong and we love connecting with you all in person! We have in person run groups around Australia and USA (and growing!) and Her Trails adventures.

You can subscribe to our run group email to receive run details here.

Watch this space for more ways to connect on the trail.
